After the late night drive the previous night we had a very slow day, chatting to and eating with family. We had one last excursion to the beach of Biograd and finally got our first dose of perfect weather since Krk, just sun, no wind. We swam and played ball in the water with Neda’s cousins. Tonight we were heading to Zadar to spend the last night on the coast with there. Before we took our trip back to Zadar for the night, we spent the evening chatting until Neda’s cousins and Bozica’s husband Mica picked up the guitar and treated us all to a set of old Bosnian and Croatian songs. Everyone sang along and had a great time. There was a lot of wine flowing too. We said our goodbyes til next time, which is always hard.

In Zadar, Kreso was good enough to supplement for the shortcomings of our GPS and our own orientation and meet us on his scooter at about midnight to show us the way back to his apartment.
